II. SnowBall Update

    -Overall went extremely well

    ˆ good feed back from the schools in attendance

    -Booking Commonwealth for next year soon

 

III. Lunenburg Certamen Update

    -another successful event, made a good profit

 

IV. Officers Report

    Grace- Lunenburg Certamen Tournament

    Mike- state of emergency for 2nd vice and tech coordinator

  Extend deadlines for all contests- Brought up by Ma Keeley

   Motion made by Zach to extend the deadline from April 4th to April 17th

     Unanimously passed

    Notification to be sent by Zach

    Lucy- snowball was great

    Eda- updates will be made to the website soon

    Alyssa- balance $5882.72 without registration for states

            We still have some checks to pay

    Emily- collecting articles for newsletter to be handed out at convention

    Examples: Movie reviews, Need school updates

 

V. Convention

    -Goodie Bags- m &ms, pens (from Ma Keeley)

       -Whole School Contests-

        -Each officer will judge the material sent to that officer. Will then be validated by SCL-ers

        -Room 1064 will be to drop off pre-convention contests

    -Miscellaneous Business-

        -Tables on stage during General Assemblies

Unanimous

    -Academic Testing-

        -officers to put together all ten test ahead of time for people who want to take all ten tests. Will avoid chaos.

        -Keeley in charge of academic testing

 

IX. Single Day Attendance

    -Because of AP testing and teachers and parents donŐt want them to be too exhausted to test

        ~They are being picked up by the parents

    Motion made by Zach to allow the kids to participate in the day events and have to go to the fellowship and must pay the full price

    Discussion: They have to pay the full amount even if they donŐt use the hotel

                                Unanimous decision to pass the motion

X. Convention Part 2

    -Changes to the Schedule-

        -specifics on ZachŐs copy

        -Supplies we may purchase in the future-

           -Mega phones
